About Best Bottleneck Calculator
Best Bottleneck Calculator helps PC builders, gamers, and creators estimate whether a selected build is more likely to be limited by the CPU, GPU, system RAM, or VRAM.
The site is built for one practical job: make hardware planning clearer before someone spends money on a processor, graphics card, memory kit, or monitor upgrade.
What We Build
The calculator combines:
- Official CPU and GPU specifications where available
- Normalized internal performance indexes
- Resolution profiles for 1080p, 1440p, ultrawide 1440p, and 4K
- Workload profiles for esports, general gaming, AAA graphics, simulation, and creator workloads
- Separate RAM and VRAM checks
The result is a planning estimate, not a measured benchmark run.
Data Principles
We separate static hardware specifications from estimated performance balance.
- Specification fields are based on vendor product information when possible.
- Estimate indexes are internal model inputs and are labeled as estimates.
- Licensed benchmark tables are not copied into the product.
- Results are designed to explain relative balance, not guarantee exact FPS.

Independence
Best Bottleneck Calculator is not affiliated with Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, PassMark, Valve, OpenBenchmarking, or any other hardware or benchmark publisher mentioned on this site.
Brand names and product names are used only to identify hardware and source references.
